Youth Voices In Prevention (YouthVIP) is a program that is provided through the Education & Outreach program at Solace and is funded by a grant through the OWV/DOJ.
YouthVIP is a prevention education focused on preventing teen dating violence through the use of several programs including using a curriculum created by the CDC called the Healthy Relationship Toolkit (HeaRT).
We are seeking adults to become trained facilitators who would be comfortable in providing this curriculum to youth (grades 6th- 8th). Solace will provide all training materials & items you may need... but what we really need is YOU!!
Background check & general Solace volunteer onboarding will be required for all volunteers.
Experience with working with youth is appreciated but not required.
There may be options for this to be a long-term volunteer opportunity or for volunteer options within the YouthVIP program that are not listed as of date of posting.
