The Sioux Falls Airshow is a 2-day event that is free to all ages of spectators. The shows will be held July 29th & 30th from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm each day. Volunteers are needed in a variety of positions and shifts.
Aviation performances and demonstrations over the 2-day period will be provided by:
- USAF Thunderbirds
- South Dakota Air Guard
- F-16 Viper Demo
- Kent Pietsch
- Melissa Burns
- Skip Stewart
- Para-Commandos of the Special Operations Command
- C-47 Warbirds
- Demonstration Team for the USMC MV-22 Osprey
- Vanguard Squadron
- B-25's and TBM Avenger CAF from the CAF Missouri Wing
- US Air Force Heritage Flight
All volunteers must attend the volunteer briefing prior to Monday, July 17th @ 7 pm at Maverick Air Center - 4201 Maverick Place, Sioux Falls, SD 57104. A description of job duties, a map of the grounds, and key locations will be covered. Instructions for parking and free t-shirts will be handed out.
