LifeScape Children’s Pow Wow Learning Station Helpers

Location: LifeScape’s Children’s Building, 2501 W. 26th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57105
This event will be held outdoors.
Seeking volunteers with interests in outdoors, cultural learning, and teaching/helping children of all abilities, to explore Native American Cultures by facilitating a learning station. Learning stations will have all supplies needed. Come and help kids to create, learn, have fun and grow. At end of event, assist with clean up and put away items.
1:30-2:15pm: Please join us for the Pow wow Grand entry starting at 1:30pm with drumming, dancing, and rituals
2:15 – 4pm: Volunteer tasks for activity stations start at 2:15pm. Ending at 3:30pm with clean up ending by 4pm.
Learning stations consist of: Serving Cultural Food station, small drum making station, sage pouch station, dream catcher creation, animal pelt exploration, and more. Join us at 1:30pm for the grand entry drumming session.
