Be a Mentor to a HS Student Who Wants to Volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

LifeScape supports a High School Student who would like to learn to be a delivery driver.  To provide hands-on learning experiences re: this type of employment, the High School Student is volunteering to deliver Meals on Wheels.  Be a Mentor by driving your vehicle, leading the duties of delivering meals on wheels in Sioux Falls and helping the LifeScape Student to be active in all delivery parts of processes and social processes.  A LifeScape Staff member will accompany all deliveries and provide support for LifeScape Student.

• Volunteering goals is once a weekly or at minimum bi-weekly.
• Deliveries are Mon-Friday.  Volunteer times: 10:15am- 1:15pm.
• Volunteer must have a current drivers licenses and will need to sign up to be a volunteer at both LifeScape and Active Generations (meals on wheels program).
• Volunteer will drive own vehicle, provide proof of vehicle insurance.  If own vehicle is a challenge, please visit with LifeScape, there is a possibility that LifeScape can be the driver and you can be the mentor/leader of all other processes.
