LifeScape is seeing volunteers who enjoy working from home and have talents in sewing, scrapbooking, or small construction projects.
Throughout the year, sewing, scrapbooking, and small building projects come up to assist people to live their best lives. LifeScape is seeking at-home volunteers to share your time, handi-craft, and possibly resources. LifeScape will have resources for the below projects. Thank you for your interests in volunteering and empowering people to live their best life through your support of at-home volunteer tasks. You are appreciated.
Sewing project possibilities:
- foam arm pads
- bean bags for bean bag board games
- mending clothing
- waterproof covers to beanbag chairs, seats, arm rests, etc
- catheter dignity bag covers
- curtains
- mittens
- mealtime shirt protectors
- fleece lined ponchos for people who use wheelchairs
- adapted clothing needs
- and more
Small building projects could include:
- tiered wood card holders
- barbie furniture
- dinosaur play scences (volcano or environmental scene on a platform that inspires imagination play)
- hot wheels racing ramp/track (foldable)
- bean bag boards (4 sets)
- board toss for carnival game
- skeetball box for carnival game
- Staining, repairing,
- and much more as individual needs arise
Scrapbooking
- Create scrapbook pages for children in the LifeScape Pediatric Hospital that can help capture their stories and successes in a baby book
- LifeScape has the supplies.
