Join us in making a difference in the lives of seniors! The Salvation Army is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help distribute food boxes as part of the Commodities Supplemental Food Program. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and ensure that seniors receive the support they need.
Volunteers will assist with food distribution on the second Thursday of each month. The shifts are from 10:00am to Noon and 1:00pm to 3:00pm, with volunteers asked to arrive at 9:45am for the morning shift or 1:00pm for the afternoon shift. We’re currently looking for two volunteers for the morning shift and two volunteers for the afternoon shift. .
You’ll be helping distribute food to seniors in need, so being able to lift up to 30lbs is a key requirement. Your time will have a meaningful impact on the lives of others. We look forward to having you join our team!
