Good Food for All Produce Distribution
We are excited to announce a volunteer opportunity to flood Hayward School District families with boxes of fresh produce! This is a 12 week program meant to encourage families, especially kids, to increase their fruit and vegetable consumption. The hope is that consistent exposure to produce will foster lifelong healthy eating habits and break the cycle of chronic disease! Volunteer responsibilities will include directing traffic, participant registration, and/or loading 20 pound boxes of produce into vehicles. This program will be offered every Tuesday from 4-6pm, July 13^th-Sept 28^th.
