Volunteer Opportunity: Event Tear‑Down Crew (2:00–4:00 PM)
Help us close out the Women VetsConnect Wellness Retreat, a statewide gathering supporting women veterans and military partners. After a full day featuring more than 40 vendors, presenters, and guests, we need an efficient and friendly team to help wrap up the event smoothly.
Shift Time: 2:00 PM–4:00 PM
Location: Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls
What Volunteers Will Do
We will begin promptly at 2:00 PM with a brief 15‑minute meeting and introductions. Then we’ll jump into tear‑down tasks, including:
- Assisting vendors as they pack up their materials
- Carrying supplies, displays, and equipment out of the building
- Taking down tables, chairs, signage, and resource stations
- Helping presenters gather and load their supplies
- Consolidating event materials for transport
- Supporting general event clean‑up Handling other end‑of‑day tasks as needed to ensure a smooth closeout
This is a great opportunity for volunteers who enjoy hands‑on work and want to help us finish the day strong for the veterans and families we serve.
