Everyone has something valuable to share. Whether you've built a career around a particular skill, developed a lifelong hobby, or simply enjoy teaching others, your talents can help enrich the lives of the people supported by Black Hills Works.
As a Share Your Skills Volunteer, you'll use your knowledge and experience to introduce participants to new hobbies, teach practical skills, or support programs in meaningful ways.
We're always looking for volunteers with interests or expertise such as:
- Photography
- Music or performing arts
- Woodworking or DIY projects
- Sewing, knitting, or quilting
- Cooking or baking
- Health and wellness
- Arts, crafts, and other creative talents
Don't see your skill listed? We'd love to hear your ideas! We'll work with you to find a volunteer opportunity that matches your interests and helps participants discover new experiences, build confidence, and develop lifelong skills.
