Who: Requesting outgoing volunteers 18+ who enjoy public speaking and presenting in front of large groups
What: Serve as a live presenter during presentations of "The Global Soundscapes Show (check out a trailer here)." The show focuses on the new field of soundscape ecology, aligns with curriculum standards, and plays well with families and school groups. Volunteers are invited to serve as interactive hosts during showings of this film - script, props, and plenty of training provided
Where: Presentations will take place in the Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium inside the Kirby Science Discovery Center
When: Exact times TBD, but there will be a consistent schedule of "Soundscapes" this spring during workweek hours (presentations of "Soundscapes" may happen, say, every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 and 1:00 between mid-April and early June) - stay tuned!
Why: "Soundscapes" will be a great way to utilize the capabilities of the CineDome and enrich the museum experiences of Pavilion field trip guests this spring
Training: The Museums staff will lead a training session on Monday, March 9 from 1:30-3:00 pm
