Description

As we approach the holiday season, we are reminded of the importance of giving back to our community. Every child should have the chance to experience the magic of Christmas morning, and thanks to the kind-hearted supporters of The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program, this dream will become a reality for many local children. Through the generosity of donors, the Angel Tree program is able to provide new clothes and toys to children from less fortunate families. Angel Trees, with numbered paper angel tags, are displayed in local companies and corporations, featuring the first name, age, and gender of a child in need. Contributors are encouraged to remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags.

We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of our volunteers, who helped us make this program a success. Their dedication is essential in ensuring that we can bring joy and hope to children in need. We are currently seeking several volunteers to be toy runners and help load Christmas food boxes into vehicles. By joining us on December 19th and 20th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., you can make a meaningful difference in a child's life. Thank you for your kindness and willingness to help those in need during this special time of year.  To volunteer click here or for more information, please email or call Angie at 605-342-0982.
