Help raise awareness of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline across the Sioux Falls area by assisting with the distribution of promotional materials and community outreach activities during Suicide Prevention Month. All materials, instructions, and supplies will be provided prior to each activity.
Volunteers may choose to assist with one or more of the following opportunities:
- Week of August 17: Material delivery (approximately 1-3 hours)
- September 3-7: Yard sign placement (approximately 1-2 hours)
- September 8, 7:00-8:00 a.m.: Event support at Scooter's Coffee locations
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry boxes of stickers, signs, or t-shirts
- Comfortable interacting with the public in a friendly and professional manner
- Dependable and able to follow instructions
- Age Requirement: 16+ (or younger with parent/guardian supervision)
