Opportunities From: Helpline Center Volunteer Connections

Join us for afternoon field trips and be part of the fun! Volunteers help ride along with staff to support supervision, encourage participation, and build connections with boys as they explore activities in the community. Most opportunities take place on afternoons during the week and are a great fit for those looking for a short, impactful way to get involved. 

Lunch Buddies Volunteer Program The Club for Boys is looking for caring, consistent adults to join our Lunch Buddies Program—a simple but powerful way to connect with the boys we serve.

As a Lunch Buddy, you’ll come to the Club around noon and share a meal with one or a small group of boys (up to five). Volunteers are invited to skip the lunch line and enjoy a meal while modeling healthy habits, encouraging boys to try new foods, and—most importantly—building meaningful connections. For many of our members, having an adult sit with them, ask about their day, and truly listen makes a lasting impact and helps them feel seen and valued.

Because we work directly with youth, all volunteers must complete a background check and onboarding process before participating. This helps us ensure a safe, supportive environment for every child.

If you’re someone who enjoys conversation, can show up consistently, and wants to make a difference in a young person’s day, we’d love to have you join us! We’re especially looking for volunteers who can come weekly or twice a week—it's a meaningful way to spend your lunch break.”

The Club for Boys is always looking for good volunteers that can help with some of our fundraising special events. Some of these include our Corporate Free Throw Challenge, Hooked on Hardwater, and Raffle. If you like volunteering for set up, decorations, games and raffles this is the volunteer opportunity for you.
