Volunteer: Neighborhood Soccer Volunteer Fall 2026

Volunteers are the heart of Neighborhood Soccer. Whether you’re coaching on the field, helping families register, serving lunch, distributing equipment, welcoming participants, or supporting site operations, your time and encouragement can have a lasting impact on a child’s life.

No soccer experience is required for many volunteer roles. What matters most is a willingness to build relationships, create positive experiences, and help children and families feel welcomed, valued, and supported.

By volunteering, you’ll help create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where kids can grow in confidence, build friendships, and experience a strong sense of belonging.

Volunteer: Service Groups – Camp Projects

The Sioux Falls YMCA welcomes service groups to support seasonal projects at camp. While we do not have a formal, ongoing volunteer program or set schedule, we coordinate group service opportunities primarily in the spring and fall.

Volunteer projects typically focus on hands-on, outdoor work that helps maintain and improve camp facilities. This may include landscaping, basic construction, repairs, and other manual labor projects that directly enhance the camp experience for our community.

Who We’re Looking For:
We are best suited for groups with experience or skills in:
Landscaping
Construction
Contracting or general maintenance work

Due to the nature of the work and for liability considerations, volunteers must be 18 years or older.

How to Get Involved:
Service opportunities vary based on current needs and project availability. To learn more about upcoming projects or to schedule a group, please contact:
caley@siouxfallsymca.org
