YMCA

The YMCA of Rapid City has served the greater Rapid City area since 1948 as an organization bringing men, women, girls and boys of all ages, races, faiths, abilities, and economic backgrounds together in programs designed to nurture the potential of every child and teen, improve the health and well-being for all in the community, and give special focus on the most vulnerable in the community. Along with Y branches in Rapid City, Custer, Box Elder, and Edgemont, the YMCA of Rapid City offers programming such as Y Jump Start for teen moms, Y Kidstop for afterschool education enhancement, a teen outreach center, and summer day camp for outdoor enrichment. Each year the YMCA of Rapid City reaches nearly 23,000 different people of all ages, races, faiths, abilities, and economic backgrounds

The YMCA offers a variety of programs available for online or in-person registration, including youth sports, swimming, childcare and camps, group outings, health programs, and more. At the Y, youth learn what they can achieve, families spend quality time together, and we offer a sense of belonging that deepens relationships and builds community.
