Who We Are
The YMCA of the Black Hills has served the greater Rapid City area, and Black Hills region, since 1948 as an organization bringing men, women, girls and boys of all ages, races, faiths, abilities, and economic backgrounds together in programs designed to nurture the potential of every child and teen, improve the health and well-being for all in the community, and give special focus on the most vulnerable in the community.
What We Do
Along with Y branches in Rapid City, Custer, Box Elder, and Edgemont, the YMCA of the Black Hills offers programming such as Y Jump Start for teen moms, Y Kidstop for afterschool education enhancement, a teen outreach center, and summer day camp for outdoor enrichment.
