Youth in Science, Rapid City

Youth in Science Rapid City, Inc. (YISRC) is a local non-profit organization dedicated to engaging area youth with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers. It is primarily known for hosting the annual Women in Science Conference at South Dakota Mines.

Youth In Science Rapid City, Inc. is managed by local professional women who work in forestry, law, information technology, accounting, chemistry, botany, physical and occupational therapy, university admissions, computer science and engineering.  They volunteer their time to implement the Women In Science Conference.
