Seventh Circuit CASA Program

Who We Are

CASA volunteers come from many different places and all walks of life. Whatever life experiences you bring with you, YOU can be a successful volunteer. All you need is the shared passion and commitment to advocate for children!

What We Do

A CASA volunteer is someone who spends time with kids who’ve experienced abuse and neglect and are in the State’s custody. They ensure that kid’s needs are being addressed by communicating with different parties (attorney’s, foster parents, etc.) involved with the child(ren), becomes a voice in the courtroom for kids by writing court reports, and build connections through spending time with kids and meeting with them on a regular basis.

Volunteers are trained by staff, we work to advocate for kids in the foster care system by supporting our volunteers by connecting them to resources, and giving them support while they advocate for kids in care.
